About Us
We are students at Griffith University (Gold Coast campus) who gather together while at university to make the love and mercy of Jesus known. Join us whether you are a Christian, investigating or just curious. Our meetings are warm, friendly and informative. Griffith Christian Students is affiliated with a wider student Christian movement called AFES (Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students). The AFES has been around since 1936 and enjoys a long and respected history in Australia. Currently there are over 50 groups in Australia. The AFES supports and encourages us in our ministry.AFES was one of the founding members of IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students). Again, lots of countries are affiliated to IFES.
